Create the spectacular plumage of a peacock and an owl using nothing but small triangular foam stickers - an original and deeply satisfying mosaic activity that introduces children to a new form of tessellation. In Coco, children work with six shapes and six colours of triangular adhesive foam pieces, following the step-by-step booklet to build up the intricate feather patterns on the two large illustrated boards. The result is genuinely impressive - a mosaic art piece that demonstrates how simple geometric shapes can combine to create something beautifully complex. Illustrated by Charlotte Gastaut.
